An editorial in a California regional newspaper reported a story about a man in California who built an ingenious machine in his garage. Everything high tech imagined he had acquired over the years was used to make this huge contraption perform complex operations.

So from the control panel, the operator watched with satisfaction as the lights blinked and dials turned as an indication that all was in proper working order. I SAW ON MY TIMELINE WHERE SOMEONE WENT INTO A LONG RANT ABOUT FOLKS AND BLACK WOMEN SPECIFICALLY HATING ON OTHER BLACK WOMEN DUE TO THE COMMENTS THEY MADE ON A SERIES OF PICTURES OF BLACK BIKE WEEK………….HONESTLY, I’M NOT SURE WHAT THE HECK THEY EXPECTED???  WHEN YOU POST SALACIOUS & SHOCKING PICTURES WHAT THE HELL DO YOU EXPECT? A ROSE GARDEN?

IRONICALLY, ON THAT SAME RANT STATUS…..THOSE AGAINST THE SUPPOSED HATERS DID THE SAME THING THEY ACCUSED OTHERS OF DOING WHICH WAS HATING!!!!! SMH YES REVERSE HATING….THAT’S THE NEXT NEW THING…….SMH HA!

DUE TO THIS LACK OF DEPTH IN THIS SOCIETY FOLKS ACTUALLY THINK THAT WHAT THEY FEEL MATTERS TO EVERYONE ELSE AND IT DOESN’T. 

THIS IS THE INTERNET AND TO ACTUALLY CONTINUALLY SEE FOLKS IN GENERAL GET ANGRY BECAUSE OTHERS HAVE DIFFERENT OPINIONS IS MIND BAFFLING. LIFE IS NOT A LOVE FEST AND FOR ALL THOSE WHOM THINK THAT IT’S JUST BLACK WOMEN WHO DON’T UPLIFT CHECK OUT WHITE WOMEN….THEY PUT OUT HITS ON EACH OTHER….LMAO BLACK MEN, WHITE MEN AND PEOPLE IN GENERAL DON’T DO POSITIVE THINGS MOST TIMES……

AND FRANKLY ON THAT STAT WHICH WAS ABOUT FOLKS PARTYING FOR A WEEK AT BLACK BIKE WEEK IT’S HARD FOR ME TO ALIGN THAT WE SHOULD BE MAKING EXPECTING MASSIVE CHANGE, POSITIVITY, & SOME BIG LIFE STATEMENT TO SUCH FRIVOLITY EXCEPT THAT THE WORD “”HATE”” IS IRRITATING.

SOMETIMES, I WISH AS A MUSICIAN/PRODUCER WE DIDN’T CONTINUE TO COME UP WITH THESE BS CATCHY SLANG WORDS BECAUSE FOLKS IN SOCIETY JUST TAKE IT TO THE N’TH DEGREE LEVEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MOST FOLKS ARE ON THE NET MAKING COMMENTS: SOME GOOD, SOME BAD, OR INDIFFERENT.

ON THAT PAGE ABOUT BLACK BIKE WEEK I FEEL LIKE THIS IF THE FEMALES IN THE PICS HAD THE GUTS TO TAKE & POST THE PICS THEN THEY SHOULD ALSO HAVE THE GUTS TO TAKE THE CRITICISMS: GOOD, BAD, OR INDIFFERENT BECAUSE SOME OF THOSE PICS WERE OUTRAGEOUS & SIMPLY UNFLATTERING. OH THAT’S RIGHT I’M HATING BECAUSE I TOLD THE TRUTH. I DON’T CARE! KICK ROCKS WITH JUST YOUR SOCKS! LOL HA!

EITHER CASE NO ONE IS MAKING ANY MONEY NOR LOSING ANY SLEEP ON THIS AND FRANKLY NO ONE SHOULD. HOWEVER THIS WORD “”HATE”“” NOW THAT SH*T HAS TO BE RETIRED.

TODAY I’LL REVIEW A PLUGIN THAT YOU CAN GET A TON OF BANG FOR THE BUCK. IT’S IZOTOPE’S NECTAR. IT’S MORE LIKE A MASTERING PROGRAM FOR VOCALS. WHETHER YOU WANT TO USE IT FOR MIXING OR TRACKING MODES IT SEEMS TO DELIVER ON ALL ENDS. JUST HAVE ENOUGH CPU POWER TO UTILIZE IT IN TRACKING MODE.  IT’S SO VERSATILE THAT YOU CAN TWEEK IT FOR SPECIFIC GENRES AND IT COMES WITH A GOOD AMOUNT OF PRESETS FOR A BEGINNER WHO MAY BE UNFAMILIAR WITH SOME SETTINGS FOR CERTAIN GENRES THEY WORK IN. HA!

 THERE ARE 11 IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS:

■Pitch correction. This provides automatic correction and in some hosts, manual correction with graphic, per-note editing of pitch and correction amount. Among the 64-bit Windows programs I tested, the manual option was available in Pro Tools, Studio One Pro, and Ableton Live, but not Wavelab, Sonar, or Vegas; this is a limitation of the host, not Nectar. 

■Breath control. Identifies breath noise, then reduces it using compression. This has much latency due to significant look-ahead—consider bouncing or freezing a track once it”s set as desired. 

■Noise gate. Standard, but also includes RMS detection option, and can serve as an expander. 

■EQ. 5-bands, with seven response curves for each band. 

■Saturation. Tube, tape, retro, analog, retro, and warm, with variable-slope high-frequency rolloff. 

■Doubler. Actually, it”s a quadrupler, with a sophisticated design featuring adjustable pitch offset, delay, panning, gain, and octave up or down options for each “voice.” Two bands of shelving EQ can interact with each other for unusual responses. 

■Compressors. The two different compressors, optionally routable for parallel compression, model four different compressor types; one includes post-filtering. 

■ De-esser. Minimizes “ess” sounds effectively. 

■Limiter. Complements the compressors by placing a ceiling on the peak dynamic range. 

■Reverb. If you”re familiar with the mastering reverb in Ozone … this isn”t it! It”s flexible and sounds good, thanks to seven reverb algorithms, with seven variable parameters. 

■ Delay. This offers digital, tape, and analog algorithms with modulation, tempo sync, and separate high-cut/low-cut parameters. 

BOTTOM LINE: THIS PLUG-IN IS NOT THAT HARD TO FIGURE OUT IF YOU KNOW A MINIMAL AMOUNT ABOUT USING PLUG-INS AND ALSO IF YOU HAVE HAD EXPERIENCING USING OTHER IZOTOPE PLUG-IN SUCH AS OZONE AND ALLOY HOWEVER IT HAS EXTREMELY VERSATILE FUNCTIONS FOR THE MORE EXPERIENCED MIX ENGINEER, MUSIC PRODUCER ETC. AT A REASONABLE COST. SO GET UP ON YOUR GANGSTA AND UPGRADE YOUR VOCALS IN THIS NEW YEAR. I KNOW I AM! HA!

Would love to hear your points of view on the deal. All I know that the music industry hip hop game has become the crack game….due to so many folks attempting to succeed in the industry etc. they’ve lowered the quality and the pricing of music production. What has occurred is a music catalog full of wack, unfulfilling music. I know that this won’t be turned around anytime soon and to continue to survive even the most qualified music producers, such as I, will be required to participate in this crack game….however like all trends it will change just hoping it changes soon…ha!

It’s been an amazing turn of events in the music industry in the past decade or so that the power of the DJ has risen to a point that I would say we control the music industry. Now some may think this is good and some may think it’s bad but without a doubt it is what it is so you can be angry regarding the new trend in the music game or you can step your game up, dominate and win. I decided long ago when I became a musician that I was willing to always step up my game even when it brought me into uncharted territory. For me it’s just a part of the overall challenge of being an artist, musician, and business person. 

So in re-tooling my career this year I reintroduced myself to DJ-ing. Yes, I have always dj’ed on some level but I was a lazy dj. I admit it so this year I decided to truly step up my game because when I saw the correlation between DJ-ing and music production in today’s music game, increasing my DJ craft was just a word. I just felt like writing tonight. 

I have come into contact with so many new people recently: some good, some think they’re good but aren‘t good, some know they ain’t shit, and some just don’t know shit…..HA! It seems like for whatever reason I have run into a long string of females who are either just coming out of relationships, are still hung up with exes, still in relationships pretending they aren’t, love negative & abusive treatment, have no self-esteem, love playing the victim role while they victimize others, lie about what they truly want, etc. etc. etc. 

I could say it was a bad string of luck if I didn’t really observe life the way I do, but the truth is: that most females today are not whole, empathetic, compassionate etc. & many if not, most of them today are like the long list of bad girls in the bible such as: Jezebel, Salome, Delilah, Maacah, Potiphar’s & Lot’s Wives. These Biblical females are str8 full of deceit, manipulation, disrespect for themselves and others, etc. from beginning to end and not much; if at all, different than all the tricks I seem to keep running into. Yep, I call them tricks because that’s all today’s dating seems to be filled with which are tricks, games and unfortunately a large amounts & doses of REJECTION.
